I’m Becca and this is my story. I was in New York for Thanksgiving this year, and I had heard a couple weeks before that he was going to be there for a book signing. I knew immediately I had to do whatever I could to meet him. I wrote my family an e-mail thinking they would never agree to wait with me, but they said yes! The day of the book signing, I woke up at 4 am to go and wait outside because they were only going to let in 1000 people. I got there and there was already a line around Barnes and Noble and another block. I started to cry because I didn’t think we would make it. At 8 they started to let people in, and 6 people before me, they cut the line off. The cop walkied if they were at 1000 yet, and they said take a few more. I was 988 out of 1000 people let in, and it was AMAZING. I have been a fan for so long and now I was guaranteed to meet him. It took thirteen hours until we were let into the store. They told us we would go in groups of four for the picture, so my sister and I paired up with a dad and his daughter, ensuring I could stand next to him with the little girl on the other side. Right as we were about to meet him, the store people asked “Who has a group of four?” and we said we did because they were letting people who had their groups ready to go ahead. Instead, they told us we were to pair up with another group that was already in the picture NEXT TO HIM. I didn’t even get to say hi to him, which is all I wanted to do. They took the picture, and the people pushed me away from him. I was distraught. As my sister and I were leaving, we saw a cop we had befriended outside. He asked us how it was and my sister told him our situation. We thought he would say “I’m sorry, time to go,” but instead he said, “Come with me.” He went over to Kenny and told him what had happened, who told Justin. They were in between pictures so he was just standing around. He came over to me and said, “Hi! How are you? It’s nice to meet you, thanks for coming!” I was speechless. I forgot everything I had planned on saying to him and just said “Thank you”. He gave me the biggest smile ever and I had to leave because the next people were getting in the picture. He waved and said goodbye. It’s a moment I’ll never forget, and that’s my bieber experience.
hahah I forgot I sent this so long ago!!
